History:
Testing for Public Safety, LLC is a privately owned consulting firm located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jeffrey Savitsky J.D., Ph.D. established the Institute for Public Safety Personnel, Inc. (IPSP) in 1993. Amy Emerson began working with the firm at its inception when she completed her Master of Science Degree. She purchased the company assets from Dr. Savitsky upon his retirement in 2016, prompting the name change to Testing for Public Safety, LLC.

We began consulting for departments in Indiana almost 25 years ago. In that time, our client base has expanded across the nation residing in a variety of rural and urban settings. We now work with over 150 departments ranging from 5 to 1500 employees.
